Mobile & full-stack engineer
Eight years of mobile and web development, a computer science degree from AUST, and a career that started on a shop floor. I spent nearly nine years at Virgin Megastore managing a team of thirty, and took the same instincts into code: keep it working, keep it moving, keep the person using it in view.
Today I lead a development team at Feer-Mcqueen: reviewing code, holding the quality line, keeping sprints honest and unblocking the people around me. I still write the code I review.
Most of what I ship is React Native on iOS and Android, with React and Next.js on the web and PHP, Laravel and Firebase behind it. The work I care about is the unglamorous kind — the app that opens fast, the form that submits, the release that lands on time.

React Native for iOS and Android, from the first screen through review, release and the updates after it. Apps I have worked on are live on the App Store and Google Play.
